In my salad for lunch every day I get fat free turkey, carrots, cucumber, mushrooms and snow peas with a fat free lemon herb dressing. What do you put in your salad?

Mine is chicken, apples, blue cheese, carrots, avocado, lettuce, and balsamic vinegar.

...ok, I'm going to go make that now.

like I was saying to Nico below....fruit is a little scary for me...it seems so bold. but apples sound like they might be good with walnuts. hmmmmmm

it can go one of three ways...

cut up morningstar fake chicken, avocados, tomatoes, corn, ranch and a little bbq sauce

OR

cucumbers, avocados, tomatoes, mushrooms & goddess dressing

OR

red onion, feta (or goat cheese,) berries (either raspberries or strawberries,) candied pecans (or walnuts,) and some kind of vinaigrette.

okay now i want salad.

see, I eyeball the fruit at the place where I get the salad, but I have just not been brave enough yet to try that. It just seems weird to me having gruit in a salad. but I am really thinking maybe to try the raisins.

Hard boiled egg, grape tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, peas, and lite ranch (but only half the regular amount because they always put way too much in).

do you get that egg like a whole egg? or sliced hard boiled egg, more like a chef salad style?

Sliced hard boiled egg is my preference. Sometimes they don't slice it though.

I like my salads basic - usually spring mix greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, goat or feta cheese, and a vinegarette.

yeah, I think mine are kind of basic too, and I would love to put cheese in them....but on this weight watchers diet right now, I think that cheese is like 2 points or something. although I dont actually use all of my points every day, so I guess I could get some cheese added in.

mix of mescalun and baby spinach, carrots, cucumber, avocado, raw sunflower seeds, alfalfa sprouts, tomato, chickpeas ... various dressings, but my fav right now is my homemade dressing mixed with raw tahini (cold-pressed olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, soy sauce).

I was working on the whole chickpea thing in my salad lately, but I was just not getting into them. I liked the idea, it just did not execute well.
